A Design System asset holds brand tokens, typography, components, and guidelines. Its sections can be edited collaboratively. Design Systems are Beta and must be available in your deployment; changes require edit access to the asset.

Edit a Design System

  1. Open the Design System asset in Spaces.
  2. Choose Overview, Tokens, Typography, Components, Data Viz, Brand, or Guidelines.
  3. Edit the section you need. Wait for the collaborative connection before making changes.

Import or export

  1. Select Export to download the current configuration as JSON.
  2. To load a saved configuration, select Import and choose its JSON file.
  3. If the asset already contains content, read the replacement confirmation before selecting Replace. JSON import replaces every configuration section, including guidelines.
  4. To attach a component library instead, select Import and choose a component-kit ZIP. Confirm with Attach, or Replace if a library is already attached.
  5. Open Components to review the attached library.
A ZIP import attaches the library without replacing the other sections. Import requires edit access and a live collaborative connection.
