/options command asks Athena to suggest possible next messages based on your session. Use it when you want help deciding how to continue a conversation or narrowing the next step to a specific topic. Suggestions appear in a separate picker. You choose whether to send one, edit it first, or leave it unused.

- Enter
/optionsin the composer and submit it. You can also select Suggest next messages from the slash command menu, which always opens with no focus. - Wait for the suggestions to finish loading.
- Wait for Thinking to finish. Up to three numbered suggestions appear in a Next steps card above the composer, each with a Copy button. Select the one you want to use.
/options summarize the findings. A focus only works when typed this way, not through the menu entry. Athena uses that focus together with the conversation to suggest what you might say next.
The command opens the suggestion picker instead of sending /options as an ordinary message in the session. Selecting a suggestion alone does not send it.
Send or edit a suggestion
- Select a suggestion in the picker.
- Select Send to send that text as your next message. The picker closes and Athena receives an ordinary session message.
- To revise it first, use Edit the chosen suggestion in the chat composer. Review the text in the composer, make your changes, and send it when ready.
