You can review model spending for individual Computers in the workspace usage dashboard. Use this breakdown to find which Computer makes model calls and compare costs over a selected period. The breakdown covers tools that use the Computer’s model-access key. It measures model usage, rather than the cost of keeping the Computer runtime running.

How to let a Computer sleep when idle and check what it costs

  1. Open Details
  2. Open the Inactivity menu
  3. Choose 1 day
  4. Save it as the default
  5. Open Usage
  6. Choose the period
  7. Find the Computers section
  8. Compare each Computer

Review spending by Computer

  1. As a workspace owner, open Usage in the dashboard.
  2. Select the Usage tab if another tab is open.
  3. Choose the reporting period from the period selector.
  4. Scroll to Computers. Review Computer Cost, Model Calls, and Avg Cost / Call for the selected period.
  5. Review the per-Computer table. Use Total Cost to compare spending and Model Calls to compare request counts.
  6. Select a linked Computer name to inspect that asset, subject to its access permissions.
The table also includes Avg Cost / Call and Last Active (UTC). The activity date comes from daily usage records. Treat it as a reporting date, rather than the exact time of the Computer’s most recent command. The table initially sorts by cost. You can select a sortable column heading to change the order. An Archived badge identifies an archived Computer whose usage remains in the report.

Export a report

  1. Select the period you want to report on.
  2. Wait for the usage data to load.
  3. Select Export CSV.
  4. Use the exported report to review daily costs, user costs, and per-Computer usage for that period.

Good to know

The dashboard is available to workspace owners. Computer costs are already included in workspace totals. They use the same model pricing and workspace multiplier as sessions. They cover calls through the Computer’s model-access key, including coding tools and SDKs that use that key. Calls billed through a separately supplied provider key are outside this breakdown. Usage is recorded periodically, so recent calls may take time to appear.
