Athena Browser enables you to automate complex workflows in Google Chrome through simple natural language instructions. From clicking buttons and filling forms to extracting data across multiple pages, the Browser toolkit handles routine web-based operations while you focus on more strategic work. Using the Browser toolkit, you can automate interactions with vendor portals, competitor websites, legacy systems, and any web-based interface, transforming manual browser tasks into efficient automated workflows with persistent authentication and session management.

Key Features

Browser Profiles

Create and manage persistent browser profiles that maintain login sessions, cookies, and browsing state across multiple automation runs. Browser profiles enable you to automate workflows on websites that require authentication without repeatedly logging in, making it ideal for accessing vendor portals, internal systems, or any authenticated web applications.

Browser Profile Configuration

When you create or edit a browser profile, you’ll see a configuration interface that allows you to customize how Athena interacts with specific websites on your behalf.
Browser Profile Configuration
The browser profile configuration interface contains several key sections: Profile Header displays the profile name, unique Asset ID, and timestamps for when the profile was created and last updated. Action Buttons let you use the profile via “Load Browser in Chat” (opens within your chat session) or “Start Browse Session” (launches a standalone browser). Links specifies URLs where this profile’s saved credentials should be used. Add multiple URLs if your authentication covers several subdomains or related applications. Details is where you describe the profile’s purpose, expected use cases, and the system it accesses. This helps team members understand when to use this profile. Guidelines sets operational rules for how Athena should behave, such as actions to avoid or security reminders. These guardrails ensure safe use of authenticated sessions. Save Changes commits your modifications. Always save after updating links, details, or guidelines. Metadata (Debug) shows technical information in JSON format, including profile ID and source session ID, useful for troubleshooting or API integration.

Content Download

Automatically download files, reports, and documents from websites. Files downloaded during Browser sessions are automatically stored in your drive, ensuring easy access and organization of your collected data.

Interactive Element Control

Click buttons, fill forms, select dropdowns, and interact with any UI elements on web pages. Automate form submissions, login workflows, and complex multi-step interactions across websites.

Data Extraction

Extract and structure data from web pages automatically. Browser can identify, collect, and organize information from tables, lists, and text content into structured formats ready for analysis.

Session Recording and Playback

Browser automatically records session activities, enabling you to review what actions were taken during automation. Session recordings provide transparency and help troubleshoot issues, while also serving as documentation for compliance and audit purposes. Session recordings capture:
  • Page Navigation: Complete history of visited URLs and navigation paths
  • User Interactions: Clicks, form fills, and element interactions
  • Screenshots: Visual documentation of key steps and results
  • Timing Information: Duration of each action and overall workflow execution time
