In this lesson, you’ll get a useful answer from three sample files. You’ll bring the files in, ask one question across them, then check the source and save the result.Start with something real to ask about. These are Northwind’s sample files: a carrier agreement, an email thread and a contacts sheet. Import them, and they’re in your workspace in a few seconds. Copy mentions puts all three in your clipboard, so you can point a question straight at them.Paste the files into a new question, and ask the way you’d ask a colleague. Say what you want, and how the result should look. Athena reads all three, then drafts the update. Every line carries a chip that points to where it came from. Don’t take it on trust yet. Check it first. You can confirm any line in seconds. Hover a chip to preview the source. Click it, and the file opens at the exact page. Read the clause yourself. If the draft says the new window starts Monday, the agreement should say so. Check the source, then decide.Your answer, and the chat that made it, stay in the workspace. Ask Athena to save the update as a document. It opens next to the chat, ready to edit. The conversation is saved too, under Sessions, so you can pick it up later. Later, search finds it by name. Click search in the rail, or press Command K. Type a word, select the result, and open it in Spaces. Nothing you make here disappears when you close the tab.Quick check. Athena’s draft says delivery moves to Monday. What do you do before sending it? Open the cited source, and confirm the clause says that.An operations lead uploads a supplier contract and an exported email thread, then asks what the supplier last agreed to. Athena reads both, and every line of the answer is cited. They check the clause, save the update, and send it, without digging through threads.Try it with your own files. Tag a contract and an email, then ask this. Look for a chip on every line. Then click one, and confirm it.
Before you start
