# Toolkit reference

> Compare customer toolkits and their default selection in a new Athena session

A toolkit groups related tools you can give Athena for a task. Use this reference to choose capabilities for creating content, working with data, or using connected services. Names match the toolkit picker. **On by default** describes a new Athena session; other agents can differ.

## Good to know

Your agent, permissions, connections, and deployment determine availability. **Web**, **GitHub**, and **Orchestration** are hidden from the ordinary menu but support mentions. Workspace-created toolkits have their own names.

**Chrome Browser** uses the Chrome extension. **Desktop Computer** requires a connected, armed desktop app. **Computer Use** targets a Computer asset. Enabling a toolkit does not grant asset access. Agent mailbox and calendar writes require approval; sending only to you can skip the send prompt.
