Welcome back to Athena 101. Today your team gets an agent they can ask from anywhere. Build it once, share it, and your team can reach it from Teams, email, Slack or a text.

Your team gets Freight Desk, an agent that answers dispute questions the Northwind way. In Spaces, click the plus button and pick Agent. Name it Freight Desk, and click Create Agent. Open Configuration. Under Knowledge base, add the dispute SOP and the Disputes tracker. Under Workbench, add the exception-review skill. That's your team's checklist. In the System Prompt, tell it to read exception-review before it reviews a dispute. Now every answer uses your files and follows your checklist.

Publish the agent and share it, and your team can start asking it. Share it with Marcus, Sam, Priya and Lena, as Can view. Only people it's shared with can ask it, on every channel. Share the dispute SOP and tracker with them too.

Marcus can ask Freight Desk in Teams and get the answer right in the thread. A workspace admin sets up Teams and Slack once. After that, Marcus mentions the agent like a colleague. Freight Desk replies in the same thread, with a link to continue in Athena. The answer follows your exception-review checklist. Marcus replies in the thread to keep going, and the agent drafts the carrier note. If someone posts a file in Teams, upload it in Athena instead. The agent can't open Teams files. To start over, post reset. You can open the whole conversation in Athena later.

Your team can also email, Slack or text Freight Desk. Open its Email channel and reserve a handle. Click Reserve. The address works right away. Copy it and give it to your team. Sam emails it, and the answer comes back in the same thread. In Slack, Priya mentions it in the team channel, and it answers in a thread. Give it a phone number, and Lena can text it from the warehouse. Every answer comes back on the channel the question came from.

Every conversation lands in one list, wherever it started. Open the agent's Sessions tab. Each row shows where it came from. Filter by Origin to see only Teams, and open Marcus's conversation. You can continue it from here. Replies you type here stay in Athena. They don't go back to Teams. Emails and texts also have their own inbox tabs.

Quick check. Lena texts the agent, but it doesn't answer her. What's the first thing to check? Check that the agent is shared with Lena. Only people it's shared with can ask it.

Here's how a law firm uses this. The practice group gets one agent that follows the firm's matter procedures. Partners ask it in Teams between meetings. Associates email it documents. Everyone gets answers in the same shape, and the firm can find any conversation later in one list.

Try it with your own team's SOP and checklist. Look for Agent published, your teammate under People with access, and their conversation in Sessions.

## Before you start

Upload these files from the [Northwind starter kit](/docs/athena-101/starter-kit): **Northwind dispute SOP.pdf**, **Northwind exception-review checklist.pdf**, **Lesson 12/Disputes tracker.xlsx**, **Lesson 12/BOL-1041.pdf**, and **Workspace setup.txt**.

Create and publish the exception-review skill and Freight Desk using the setup guide. Share the agent and its files with your teammate separately. Ask your admin to prepare the team chat and text channels; use agent email if it is available, or practice in Athena on the web. Upload the supporting delivery file in Athena before asking about it.
